What is RF microneedling?

Radiofrequency microneedling at LiLyDermis is a Health Canada approved treatment that uses tiny needles and radiofrequency waves to rejuvenate the skin.
This minimally invasive treatment is a form of controlled skin micro-injury. The damage stimulates the skin to regenerate healthy new skin, which is beneficial for conditions including skin pores, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and more typical skin problems.

How does RF microneedling work?

Microneedling uses fine needles to create micro wounds, or channels in the skin at the appropriate collagen stimulation depth for that area. The radiofrequency energy is then released into the channels, causing thermal injury to the skin. This injury causes the skin to react as a natural response and start a healing process that induces production of more collagen and elastin.

At LiLyDermis medical spa in Calgary we offer Health Canada and FDA approved gold standard RF microneedling. Call us for more information about RF microneedling treatment or book online for a free consultation or a treatment session.

When Will I See the Results?

After a few days of treatment, the skin starts to improve. Full results from the treatment can be seen approximately three months after the procedure. Studies report high rates of patient satisfaction.

However, if you have a social or professional event you want to be prepared for, consider scheduling your session for a week prior to your event.
